Eleanor is originally from Monaghan and has been a GP in Ardee for over 30 years. She studied Medicine at Trinity College Dublin and graduated in 1987. She completed her GP training in Edinburgh, Scotland.

She has post-graduate Diploma in the following: Dermatology, Geriatric Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Diabetes Care. She has a special interest in family medicine and in children and adults with disabilities/special needs.
